How long will it take my goldfish to get to bigger? And what is the life span of a goldfish?

I bought two goldfish, the first one I bougth about a month and a half ago, and then i bought another one about two weeks ago, I don’t remember what the size of the first goldfish was, but I see it appears so big now, becuase the second goldfish is small. On the chart at the store, it said my goldfishes could get up to 6 inches. How long does it take to be that size and how long can they live for anyway?

It really depends on the conditions that they are grown in. The bigger the container, and the more food they eat, the bigger they will grow. I have some that are in a pond that are a foot long.
