Are DJ’s really needed for a nightclub party?
I want to get into night club promotions, but don’t feel like paying an arm and leg for a DJ. I want to learn how to DJ on my own to cut out cost in the near future.

If I buy audio editing software to help mix my songs, do I really need a DJ?
Note: I’m a great host and can talk to over 200 people in one night.
No, but there’s a reason why ALL clubs and MOST good bars have DJ’s. It’s because we are worth it. I encourage you to try the do-it-yourself route to find out how hard it is to be good at DJing. An average 5 hour set at a club has less than 100 song. You don’t even have to buy the equipment. Just go through and list 100 songs that you would play for an upcoming party. After that, go to a club, find a good spot, and look at what the DJ does. If you try to be your own DJ, you aren’t going to have much time to do any hosting.
