Audio Editing Software Loops

audio editing software loops
What’s the best audio editing software out there?

I’ve been out of the loop for a while, but I’m familiar with Cool Edit, N-track, Goldwave, Sound Forge, and a few others that have been around for a long time, but I’m looking to get just one software that can do pretty much everything. I have Audacity but it’s not powerful enough (although I think I’m using an outdated version). I’m not really familiar with the newest versions of most of those softwares. What’s your favorite sound editing software?

Cubase is the complete and the best out there!!
