Does Audacity work with Casio WK-200?

Audacity is an open source audio editing tool. I have a Casio WK-200 which has a USB connector to the computer. I can get it to work with other software, but I can’t get it to work using this keyboard. Any ideas?

Im gonna assume that youre referring to midi. for that you’d need something else. audacity just records sound.

look at it this way. midi is like a manequin which is used to display the clothes while just pure sound waves are like a model actually modeling the clothes.

so similarly Midi files are basically the sheet music to a piece. and sound waves are the actual sound from a voice or an instrument.

so audacity is good for recording like a guitar or piano through the mic input. if you can get an adapter for where you would connect headphones to your casio and you connect a male to male cable to the front mic of a computer then you can record the sound but not as a midi file
