Audio Editing Software Track Markers

Audio editing software recommendation?
I’ve recorded a band rehearsal which when mixed down has resulted in a 45 minute track, made up of nine songs played one after the other. The problem is having burnt this to cd, when we play it back it shows up as one track and there isn’t a way of getting to the next song without fast forwarding through it.
Can anyone recommend software I can use that will insert markers/ chapters/ breaks at the beginning of each song so that when played on a cd player it will show up as nine songs and not one continuous track?
I don’t need it to do anything more complex than that so the simpler and easier to use the software, the better!
Cheers folks
A good audio editor is Audacity. It has a good range of features.
Also you will have to separate the track into 9 different music files to skip between them.
