Why are MMS blasts against FCC regulations?

Mobile marketing companies are allowed to send SMS blasts to people that have opted-in to their databases. However, I am under the impression that it is against FCC regulations to send MMS (video, pictures, audio) blasts to opted-in databases. Does anyone know why we can’t do MMS blasts?

Because God is looking out for us. Nix on the blasts – I’m opted out!
