Good Free Video Editing Program?

Hi I own a casio exilim digital camera the ex-z77
I’ve tried all sorts of video editing software but know of them work with my camera i can get the pictures but not the movies from my camera. I need a program that will work with windows xp and is not a trial a full program that is free. Don’t even bother writing windows movie maker because it does not work.Give me step by step info and how to download. The first person who gives me a program that works will get 10 pionts.

For free, you get the absolute basics. That’s what Windows Movie Maker does for you. Import, basic effects, finish, output.

For things better than Windows Movie Maker, you can look at programs such as Ulead Videostudio, Pinnacle Studio, and Avid Liquid.

Companies that pour money into research and development to make that software need to make money to survive. That’s why better software will cost more money. There’s no way around it.
