Preparing video in these formats?

I am wanting to send in some video clips I took on my camera for a video show and they only accept the following formats: VHS, mini DV, DVD video, DVD rom formats, avi format.
I use the program ‘Cyberlink power director express’ to edit and make my movies and was wondering if it does these formats. I can produce a movie and it has an option that says DV – AV and PAL under AVI setting. The other settings I usually use are Mpeg. They play on my home DVD player, does this mean they are in the right format for the show? I don’t really understand much about formats. Thanks. Also, it said that it should be 25 frames per second – how do you tell about this?

It sounds like they’re pretty easy with any format, if you export your footage as an .avi when your done and burn it to a dvd or cd it should be fine… alternatively if you have dvd authoring software you just follow the prompts and it should make you a dvd that will play universally. OR if the camera you used uses miniDV tapes, cyberlink should let you send you footage back to the camera from the computer thus in miniDV format.
