Will my laptop run Windows Vista home premium?
Will it run fine Home Premium, Aero and MEdia Center on a laptop that has 60GB (around 7GB by System rEocvery Partition), a 2GB memory, 128MB shared video memory of ATI Mobility Radeon 200M, AMD Sempron 3400+ 2.0 Ghz, Synaptics touchpad, Widescreen, and HP Mobile Remote Control ExpressCard Windows Vista Version. its a Compaq Presario V5101us. It is running Windows XP Home Edition + SP2.

Also please if you are going to tell me to run the Upgrade Advisor, it cant because I am running a security camera software as I have to see what’s going on around the place where I work at., it requests it to be closed.
You were very specific about your question and deserve an answer. Your computer more than meets the requirements for Vista Home Premium. However, I do NOT recommend it. Reason: You are going to have driver problems, firmware problems, and software compatability problems as well as security issues with Vista. I recommend you either wait on Vista for 2 years, or better yet, get a better operating system, such as Kubuntu for free at www.kubuntu.org
You will be sorry if you get Vista!!!
