how do i get a video onto windows movie maker?!?

i took some videos for a project on my iphone
i sent said videos to my email then deleted them to save space
i opened my email and one of the videos
i clicked download attachment.
i CANNOT FIND THE DANG VIDEO

Are you saying that the video wasn’t attached to your email to yourself, or that you simply can’t import it into Windows Movie Maker?

If it’s not attached to your email, I’m afraid you’re going to have to look for data recovery software that will work on the memory card of your phone.

If you simply can’t see it when you search through Windows Movie Maker, this is because it’s in the wrong format. You’ll need to convert the file to a supported file format. These are as follows:

Audio files: .aif, .aifc, .aiff .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, and .wma
Picture files: .bmp, .dib, .emf, .gif, .jfif, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, and .wmf
Video files: .asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv

You don’t mention what format your video file is currently in, but you might like to give Format Factory a try. It’s a FREE programme that can convert multiple audio, video, and picture formats.
