Whats A Good Video Editing Program For A PC Computer Thats Free?

I know Windows Movie Maker comes with all PC computers but mine is just acting really weird. Whenever I add music and clips it goes through the song and the clips fine the first time but when I go back and try to play it again it either just freezes or does nothing or it just plays the music and not the clips or it plays the clips and not the music. Anyone know what I have to do to fix it? If possible I’d like to use that because I’m already fimilar with i, if not any suggestions for some other video editing software?
