Video Editing Software Mts
Help with Hd video camera format?
I have a JVC everio, HD camcorder. When i shoot video, it records in .mts format. First, this format laggs on both my computers, and no video editing software supports it. What do I need to do to get it to .mp4 or .wmv. What is the best converter, or is there betters way to deal with this? Thanks in advance
The AVCHD/MTS format is very very compressed video. Most computers can’t deal with it directly unless they have a FAST CPU, LOTS of RAM, are not running anything else and an external drive to store the video project files.
Sony Vegas and Adbobe promiere are the normal suspects for Windows/Vista; iMovie ’08 or Final Cut (express or pro) for Macintosh.
There are lots of comverters – many will downsample so the video is no longer high definition.
