What is a good starter camcorder for a 10 year old?

My daughter loves taking pictures and video shots. I want to get her something to make movies. Should I buy and all inclusive “toy” like Creation Station or get a cheap camcorder like the Aiptek iCam 2.4 and buy editing software? Has anybody used the Creation Station? Or the Aiptek iCam 2.4? Creation Station sounds like fun but I don’t want anything too simple or junky. On the other hand I don’t want anything too complicated that won’t be “fun”! The C.S. has green screen with related software that lets you add neat backrounds. The Aiptek would mean I would buy software such as Corel Ulead VideoStudio 11. Creation Station records at 640 x 480 resolution; 30fps; 4:3 aspect ratio and the Aiptek records VGA video at 30 frames per second (640 x 480 resolution) in ASF format; 720 x 480 resolution in D1 mode. It seems to me they would have similar video results. I don’t want to spend a fortune, I want her to USE and ENJOY it. Feeling clueless!!! Please help…
