My account on facebook is disabled!?
Hello. So today I was trying to log onto facebook. I type in my password correctly and it says my account has been disabled and that if I have any questions or concerns that I can visit their FAQ. I am really upset over their this not that my facebook was disabled its just that I had pictures of my family and friends. Especially videos and pictures of my kids and my husband. I check my email I log onto with faceboook and their is no email concerning my currently disabled account. I really dont know what to do. I called my brother in law and I told him about it and I asked him if he can check log onto his account and see what happend. He says that my account has no picture. When I really did have a picture of me and my kids and my husband. I emailed facebook but their is no response yet. Please help me!

From what you have posted here it doesn’t sound like you had any objectionable material on your page. There is a possibility that your account got hacked and the hacker performed actions which led to your account’s being disabled. I searched Facebook for information on the disabling of accounts and found this:

If you think your account was disabled by mistake, you can send an appeal to Facebook.
Be sure to write from the email address associated with your disabled Facebook account. This step must be completed in order to verify account ownership.
Please include the following account information in your email:
* Full name
* Date of birth (month/day/year)
* Login email address
* Any additional information or questions
You can send this information to Facebook by clicking here. (disabled@facebook.com)
Note that sending multiple emails will not result in a faster response. Once you submit your initial request, it is placed in a queue and responded to accordingly. We appreciate your patience.

I think my account was disabled because it was hacked or “phished.”

If you E-mailed them recently then it might be a while before you get a response. They have hundreds of people E-mailing them every day and it is impossible to answer all E-mails or investigate things like disabled accounts as they are sent. As one of the FAQ sections says, sending multiple E-mails will not get the problem resolved quicker. It may actually slow down the process. Be patient and good luck.
