Their songs are all about killing and praising Satan or bashing God.
I was forwarded this email earlier and it linked to a video on youtube by a band called Cannibal Corpse. The lyrics were added as subtitles. They were too awful to repeat here. What kind of a monster sings, and I use that term very loosely (he did in fact sound more like a monster than a singer), about killing a baby?
Cannibal Corpse is the extreme of the extreme. It’s all just for shock and awe really. It’s an act, just like with any other performer. Their act has certain fans, albeit not a huge bunch of them, that expect nothing less from Cannibal Corpse than pure insanity.
They’re great to see in concert. Open your mind, and remember they’re in it for the money. They’re actors/performers, on a stage; basically a freak show with music. Again, all shock and awe.
