Is there some freeware out there that will let me copy just a portion of a movie file (.AVI)?

I have created a long 2-hr+ .avi movie file from some diving video we took. The file is too big (2Gb) for me to email around so I am wanting to just take a few choice clips from it and send them around. Does anyone know if there is any freeware out there that does this?

you can use the free program, windows movie maker to cut the video clip to many parts.
