How is media work like in Chicago?
I’m a non-linear editor from the Bronx who just moved to Austin because it’s “2nd in the US for media” only to find that editing is done by the local 700 in LA and 90% of everyone I’ve met agree with me on “I miss the city. This is a town calling itself a city.” My mind is settled and I’m packing for Chi-town but I need to know first: What’s the market for non-linear video editing like there?
btw, in my 3 months here, I have met 9 people from Chicago. 6 of which miss it.
I am sure you will find what you are looking for In Chicago it is a great town and plenty of opportunity for a hard working person.
