how much can i get a new computer for? (specs)?
i want to use it for FAST gaming (such as guild wars) and FAST video loading and i don’t want it to suddenly destroy itself if i restore it back to factory state (like this 1 did even though apparently it’s the sturdiest computer on the market -.-)
also, my definition of new is simply completely unused, not been turned on or tampered with
To allow me to give you a good answer, you need to give me more details. It sounds like you want a gaming computer… great, there are thousands to choose from! So the price can range from $800-$2000 and higher but I won’t recommend paying more than 2k because the technology gets out dated very fast. For Guild Wars you don’t need a fast pc at all. My laptop (dual core 1.6Ghz 2 gig of ram 128mb video card) runs it with NO lag. If you can put together a computer by yourself or you know someone who can do it for you, you can get a core i7 6gigs ddr3 ram 1gig video ram and quality name brand parts for under $1200 CND (not including a monitor). I made one using parts from NCIX which weren’t even on sale. Another option is to buy a premade one but this will usually be over priced and won’t have good quality parts. Some computers I’ve seen in stores come with 12gigs of RAM which is ridiculous, they are just wasting your money. So take your pick and if you buy from a store, they will mostly likely be turned on since they need to install windows but thats not a big deal.
