Pittsburgh Video and Graphics Industry?
Soon after I finish college I plan on moving to the Pittsburgh area and I will have a degree in both video production and graphic design. Here are a few things I would like to know:
1. Does Pittsburgh have a big job market/industry in my two fields?
2. Can I easily move around in my fields in the Pittsburgh area?
3. Does the Pittsburgh area support the arts such as film/video, music and artist?
I honestly don’t know what Pittsburgh has to offer in the arts or film. However, you should check out the TV stations and universities in the area. Contacts at these places might point you in the right direction. Otherwise, my only advice is to try other cities closer to the coast. I would think more opportunity exists there. Sorry I couldn’t provide more information. Good luck!
