Video Marketing On Demand

Processor vs. V-card?
If I had the best, highest-end, most tweaked out, insane video card on or off the market…..slapped it into a 700MHz comp with 256Mb RAM, what could I expect from demanding applications. Ignroe the fact that i could get better performance from another computer for the same price as a memory upgrade.
I am asking for a legitamite answer since all i have gotten is people who don’t know.
These are the answers I am looking for:
1) what performance would there be?
2) where would it fall short?
3) what is handled by video, and what by processor
You would get TERRIBLE performance. You see, the CPU feeds the video card information, so a sweet video card paired with a crap CPU is one hell of a bottleneck. The video card can only go as fast as the CPU can sent it data. And with that small amount of RAM you’d get lag and hitching like crazy as well.
I hope that explains it.

Cool Runnings $5.58 Based on an improbable but true story, Cool Runnings concerns the Jamaican bobsled team that competed in the 1988 Winter Olympics. Director Jon Turteltaub (Phenomenon) does a fine job with both the absurdity of the situation (the athletes had never even seen snow) and the passion behind it (their desire to compete and win). John Candy, in one of his last roles, is touching as a disgraced coach who… |

Kate & Leopold $7.53 Hokey but heartfelt, Kate & Leopold revitalizes an old idea, and amiable casting makes this romantic fantasy work almost in spite of itself. Knowing that he’d be risking comparison to Time After Time and Somewhere in Time if he delved too deeply into time travel, director James Mangold (Girl, Interrupted) briefly introduces an elusive “time portal,” then wisely skirts the issue altogether. Instead… |
